RSS Feeds

I just found out that RSS Feeds wasn’t something for horses to eat. Do you know what it is? My Owner(MO) has been talking about RSS Feeds quite a lot lately, and I was looking forward to the opportunity to taste the product. (I’ve told you how she loves to do product reviews with ME.)

Come to find out “RSS” is an Acronym for Really Simple Syndication and “Feeds” may be short for feedburner. I’ve been called a hay burner before, so naturally I thought feedburner referred to me, also, it just wasn’t quite as polite.

If you look at the command line in your browser you may see an orange button. Then put your cursor on this orange button. It will let you know whether there is a feed available. My blog has a feed. Feeds are an efficient way of letting you know whether a site has new material. If my name, Meandering with Marilyn, in your favorites or feeds, (depending on your browser) is bold, it means that my website has been updated since you last viewed it on the computer.

So Please Sign up for my feed. Thanks! You will have to click twice…once on the orange button in the browser, then on the next screen that appears, also. (this screen will state sign up for feeds or something similar)
